This type of dining can be really tough on the low-carber.  At Cafe Dario you pay a set price for a 5-course meal with limited options.  I’ve tried to select for you the lowest carb options on the menu, but you’ll want to take the time to ask your server about some of the items starting with the soup.  Your meal will include a soup of the day.  Many times soups are deceivingly carby.  Watch out for flour and hidden starches, potatoes, carrots, white beans, or chick peas.  You never really know what’s going to be in a soup unless you ask, so be sure to enquire and, if need be, skip soup. Also, for obvious reasons you’ll want to skip dessert. For this reason, it’s hard to feel like you’re getting your money’s worth on this kind of dining experience.  However, if you find yourself there you can make it work if you’re willing to inquire with the server and omit the things that won’t work.
