Order: Greek Salad no toast, and Double Cheeseburger No Bun side of mayo
Once again, we visit the burger as a low carb option. If you’ve been following along, this is a mainstay of the low-carb-on-the-run diner. This popular Transcona eatery is full of carby options like pizza, breaded chicken, fries, cheese toast, and the like. Overall, it’s not the kind of place I’d pick as a destination with low carb in mind. But hey, sometimes we find ourselves in places we wouldn’t visit otherwise. The point is, you can make low carb work almost anywhere, and Dal’s is no exception. The greek salad is good and the cheeseburger? It’ll do nicely.
